Other than that, we are writing new songs and letting Brant finish his vocals for our recording. Unlike all those other times you asked us about it, this time I can confirm that I have actually seen Brant singing in front of a working microphone. It’s sounding great and we should have something new to download here soon. We also recorded 2 new tracks with vocals for a vinyl comp of Montreal bands, more info on that soon as well.

But the big Vile Intent news is that Brant cut his hair.

Following the shows with Iron Age in a few weeks we’re playing the first day of of A Varning from Montreal fest, Montreal’s premier international crust/punk fest three years running, run by the folks at katacombes.

Two Montreal shows in the next couple weeks. This saturday we just got added to a show at Friendship Cove with Drunkdriver and Ultrathin. Pirates of the Lachine Canal are doing the show. Five-ten bucks, 215A Murray St., we play first around 9pm. Last time I saw Drunkdriver it was in Brooklyn and I came to realize that every single person at the show was on mind altering drugs. Get weird.

We’re also playing with friends from Vancouver, Dichotomy, next Thursday (August 6th).

6 bucks, 8pm again at the Cove, 215A Murray St. Dichotomy have a demo online here.

Hopefully we’ll play Ottawa with Dichotomy too on the 5th. Details are still pending on that.

We’re back from tour. Just played two gigs with Toronto’s Burning Love in Montreal and Sherbrooke. Right now we are taking it easy until we can finish our latest recording.
